Your Remote App ID

Semi-integrated applications use a Remote App ID (remoteApplicationID or RAID). This is separate from the App ID. The Remote App ID allows Clover to expedite support requests for your semi-integrated solutions, and it enables logging of payments made through your app. Your POS must pass this ID when creating an ICloverConnector (Using Clover Connector). Clover checks and verifies the Remote App ID for each call and then uses it to log certain operations. You can create your Remote App ID on the Developer Dashboard.

Creating a RAID

  1. Navigate to the Developer Dashboard.
  2. In your app's overview box, click Settings.
  3. On the Settings page, click Semi-Intergrated App.
  4. On the Semi-Integrated App page, click Generate RAID.
A remote app ID is generated.

Viewing an app's RAID

  1. Navigate to the Developer Dashboard.
  2. In your app's overview, the RAID is shown under Semi-Integrated App.
