As we approach the holiday season and the end of the year, we would like to inform you of the upcoming code freeze effective November 10, 2025–January 4, 2026. During the code freeze, no major updates, new features, or integration changes will be allowed, and support will be limited. This applies to third-party apps using Clover APIs and SDKs.

During the code freeze, we will not update Clover APIs, SDKs, or other platform services.

Developer apps

No app approvals

November 10, 2025–November 21, 2025 and December 8, 2025–January 4, 2026

We will continue reviewing app submissions during these periods, but approved apps will not be released until after the freeze ends.

Critical updates

November 22, 2025–December 07, 2025

During this window, you can submit new APKs only for critical issues or security vulnerabilities that directly impact the functionality of your integration. These new APKs will require further reviews and justification for approval.

We understand this may affect your development schedule and appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a stable environment for our merchants. The code freeze helps ensure system stability, reliability, and security during the busiest time of year for our merchants. By limiting changes, we aim to minimize disruptions and maintain a consistent experience.
