Clover Payments for WooCommerce plugin is now fully compatible with WordPress 6.7.1
We are excited to share that the Clover Payments for WooCommerce plugin is now fully compatible with WordPress 6.7.1. This update brings powerful enhancements for Clover merchants with improved store functionality and user experience.
What's new
- Seamless WordPress 6.7.1 integration—Full support for the latest WordPress release, including access to all new core features.
- Support for WordPress block functionality—Clover iframe supports WordPress blocks on the Checkout page. To add a block, go to the WordPress Dashboard > Pages > Checkout. On the Checkout page, click the + button, and search for Custom HTML to embed the Clover iframe.
- Redesigned iframe for payments—Sleek, modern iframe design for payment capture, offering a more intuitive checkout experience while maintaining top-tier security.
Feature highlights
Notable features of the enhanced Clover Payments for WooCommerce plugin include:
- Faster, more stable performance.
- Greater flexibility for store customization.
- Streamlined checkout process to increase conversions.
- Support for both classic and block-based checkout themes. Merchants and developers can now toggle between classic and block-based designs based on their ecommerce store needs.
Note: Block-based checkout page designs let you customize a part of your checkout page with drag-and-drop block patterns and settings. Classic themes use widgets.
Download, install, and update
You can install and activate the Clover Payments for WooCommerce plugin from the WordPress Dashboard.
- If auto-updates are not set up, go to the WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Updates Available, and install the latest version.
- If auto-updates are enabled for the installed Clover Payments for WooCommerce plugin, it will update automatically.
NOTE
Clover recommends that you do not enable auto-updates for Clover Payments for WooCommerce. Instead, directly install the new plugin version from the WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > click Updates Available.
