How can I remove or hide the Sales Summary report from the Merchant Dashboard Home page?

The Sales Summary is a default feature and can't be removed. Contact Clover support for possible workarounds. You can also review employee permissions to ensure only authorized users can view sales data.

Is there a report that displays how often an item was sold and on which days?

Yes. You can track this using the Item and Service sales report on the Merchant Dashboard. This includes how many times a specific item was purchased within a selected timeframe. While the default reports may not show daily breakdowns by item, you can export sales data and analyze it further using spreadsheet tools to identify sales trends by day.
