Image assets

Note the following required requirements for your app launcher icons:

• Must be mipmap resources.
• Must conform to standard Android sizes:
  • Clover Station models: 48 × 48 (mdpi)
  • Clover Mini models: 72 × 72 (hdpi); (first three apps): 192 × 192 (xxxhdpi)
• Use third-party icon generators to resize your logo.

Graphic design

• Consider the screen dimensions of all Clover devices you intend to support, and design your UI with these variations in mind.
• Aim for a consistent experience across devices. A single merchant may use one or multiple Clover devices simultaneously.
• Use clean, professional, and visually appealing customer-facing interfaces. If your app includes a customer-facing component, its design directly reflects on the merchant’s brand and customer experience.

Usability

• Design clear, efficient, and robust workflows that minimize the number of steps required, as Clover apps are often used in fast-paced work environments.
• Prioritize clarity and accessibility in your UI. Use high-contrast visuals, readable fonts, and generously sized text and input controls.
• If you're adapting an app developed for another platform, ensure it includes only features and controls that are relevant and appropriate for Clover users.
