After you associate your Dev Kit with a test merchant account, you need to activate it using the activation code. Clover turns off the activation code after 30 minutes. You will need to repeat the steps to associate your Dev Kit with a test merchant account and generate a new activation code.
As part of your on-screen Dev Kit setup, Clover does not charge you to select a merchant service plan. The activation process takes a few minutes. Once the Dev Kit is activated, the Developer Dashboard—Dev Kits page displays an update.
Disassociate your Dev Kit from a test merchant account
Disassociation removes the association of a Dev Kit from a test merchant account. It does not impact the functionality or availability of the Dev Kit.

- Click Reassociate Dev Kit from the submenu that displays for your associated Dev Kit. The Reassociate Dev Kit pop-up appears.
