Install REST Pay Display app on merchant device

A local connection requires that your merchant's Clover Flex or Mini device run the REST Pay Display app. Your merchant needs to complete one of the following to install the REST Pay Display app either from the web Merchant Dashboard or on the Clover device.

Install from the web dashboard

  1. Log in to the Merchant Dashboard.
  2. From the left navigation menu, click More Tools > Apps by Clover.
    The Clover app list appears.
  3. Enter REST Pay Display in the search field.
  4. Click REST Pay Display from the search results.
  5. On the REST Pay Display page, click Connect.
    After the connection is established, the app is automatically downloaded and installed on all Clover Flex and Mini devices owned by the merchant.

Install on the device

  1. On the Clover device home screen, tap More Tools.
  2. Tap the search icon, and enter REST Pay Display.
  3. Tap the REST Pay Display result.
  4. On the REST Pay Display page, tap Connect.
  5. On the Install REST Pay Display page, tap Connect.
    After the connection is established, the app is automatically downloaded and installed on all Clover Flex and Mini devices owned by the merchant.

Start REST Pay Display app

The REST Pay Display app must be running to accept requests from the point-of-sale (POS) app.
To start the app:

  1. On the Clover device home screen, tap REST Pay Display.
  2. Tap Start. The welcome screen appears.
