This page provides a list of known issues on the Clover global developer platform and the workarounds for them. Clover team is working to resolve these issues on priority.

Account lockout due to incorrect login link (URL)

To access your developer account for the North America region use the global developer platform link (URL): In case of an account login error, verify that you are not using the legacy sandbox or production URLs. For more information, see Create global developer account.

If your account is locked due to incorrect login attempts on a legacy URL, send an email to: [email protected] with your developer account information and the Subject line: Global developer experience.

Multiple account confirmation emails

If you received multiple account confirmation emails while creating your account, use the link from the most recent email to confirm your developer account. The links in the other confirmation emails give a page not found (404) error.

TIN value not saved for business accounts

In the Developer Dashboard, on the Developer Setting > Developer Info > Edit Account Details page, the Business EIN/Tax ID field value is not saved if you set your developer account as a Business.

Business EIN/Tax ID is required information to set up a business account. Send an email to: [email protected] with the Subject line: Global developer experience and the tax identification number (TIN) value to proceed with your developer account approval process.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) for test merchants not required

You cannot access your developer account if you set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for your test merchant accounts. To avoid such scenario, do not enable 2FA for test merchants.
