We have released the following improvements and bug fixes to the Clover Sandbox environment:
We are introducing employee webhooks. Your app can now subscribe to receive notifications about changes in employee information at merchant sites. This real-time data can be useful for handling events such as creating, updating, or deleting employee information.
To use employee webhooks, set the following permissions under Settings on the Developer Dashboard:
On the Required Permissions page, set the Employees Read permission. If you are setting this permission for the first time, please inform merchants to re-install your app.
On the Webhooks page, set the Employees subscription.
employees REST API endpoint enables you to create and manage employee information. Our bug fix now enables you to successfully update the employee name for an account that has not been claimed by an active user.
Please test these changes in your Clover Sandbox environment. For questions and feedback, please use https://community.clover.com.
